Veterans Day Honors Program
Join us in the Medal of Honor Aircraft Pavilion as the Veterans Day Commission honors the 2020 Patriot of the Year and 2020 Veteran of the Year. The event is free of charge and the public is invited to attend. Admission will be charged to tour the park.

Memorial Day Flag Lowering Ceremony

LifeSouth Community Blood Services will hold their annual Memorial Day Blood Drive at the park. Donors will be given a recognition gift and a free cholesterol screening. Donors must be 16 years old and weigh 110 pounds. Blood mobile will be set up adjacent to the Gift Shop.

The Deep South Amateur Radio Club will be broadcasting from the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM during this continuous radio broadcast. The broadcast is part of the historic naval fleet yearly broadcast. Call letter for the USS ALABAMA are K4DSR and for the USS DRUM are K5LDA.
USS DRUM Crewmen’s Association Reunion
Members of the USS DRUM Crewmen's Association Reunion will gather at the park for their yearly reunion. Memorial Service and a closed Luncheon will be held.
