Battleship Rugby will host their annual Fall Invitational Rugby Tournament on the great lawn of the park. Teams from across the country will compete for the coveted trophy during the weekend matches. Join us in the Medal of Honor Aircraft Pavilion as the Veterans Day Commission honors the 2020 Patriot of the Year and 2020 Veteran of the Year. The event is free of charge and the public is invited to attend. Admission will be charged to tour the park.

Join us at the Vietnam War Memorial for the Memorial Day Flag Lowering Ceremony. The ceremony remembers all of those who have given their lives in service to our country. The event is conducted by the South Alabama Veterans Council. It is free to attend. The public is welcomed.
The 13th annual Memorial Day Flag Relay will wind through the streets of Mobile starting at 7:00 a.m. and end at Battleship Memorial Park. LifeSouth Community Blood Services will hold their annual Memorial Day Blood Drive at the park. Donors will be given a recognition gift and a free cholesterol screening. Donors must be 16 years old and weigh 110 pounds. Blood mobile will be set up adjacent to the Gift Shop.
The Deep South Amateur Radio Club will be broadcasting from the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM during this continuous radio broadcast. The broadcast is part of the historic naval fleet yearly broadcast. Call letter for the USS ALABAMA are K4DSR and for the USS DRUM are K5LDA.
Members of the USS DRUM Crewmen's Association Reunion will gather at the park for their yearly reunion. Memorial Service and a closed Luncheon will be held.
